The only argument against allowing industrial hemp production in the US is pure hysteria.
Consider this reply I received from Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) when I wrote to him in support of a bill to remove the legal restrictions from hemp production, HR1866 - The Industrial Hemp Farming Act.
